Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario medical school in 1980 and completing plastic surgery specialty training at the University of Toronto in 1986, Dr. Patterson has dedicated his life to meeting and exceeding patient expectations.
"When you see a child with a cleft lip or palate, you know why you came into this profession in the first place. Being able to do something about it is a privilege indeed and I feel the end results touch my heart as much as the hearts of the parents. Perhaps this is why it gives me so much pleasure to give back to our community by teaching at McMaster".
